Thanks for your interest in being featured on the Travel Blogger Interviews series.
This site is looking to provide great content from great travel bloggers.
Are you a suitable blogger to be featured on Travel Blogger Interviews?
To retain the quality of the interviews and keep them relevant I’d prefer to feature travel bloggers with the following criteria:-
- Your travel blog has been live on the internet for 3 months or more
- Your travel blog should be a PERSONAL travel blog. There should be an identified writer/couple and not a team of writers. It should also not be a commercial enterprise, nor a lifestyle or make money online site. I only want to focus on personal travel blogs
- You use a platform such as wordpress.org with your own unique domain name. If you use wordpress.com or Blogger it will be viewed as having less creditability than having your own domain name
- Links within your interview should be back to your travel blog website and not a range of other websites for which you have affiliate links or derive an income from (with the exception of any book you may have written)
Are you happy with the criteria above? If yes then please read on.
To complete the interview we’ll need some interview questions. I enclose a list of questions at the bottom of this page.
Please copy and paste these questions into a Microsoft Word or Open Office text document only. Then add 3 or more questions unique to you and your personal travel blog. (You can remove some of the standard questions but please remember that answering more questions is better for the interview and the readers.)
Once you have completed the interview please send the Microsoft Word/Open Office document to me at the following e-mail address: theguy[@]travelbloggerinterviews.com and title your e-mail as “Completed Interview”.
Could you also please submit some pictures to accompany the article with descriptions (you don’t want me trying to guess what your picture is and labelling it incorrectly).
Also please include at least one picture of you which will act as the featured picture for when the interview is published. Pictures should be no larger in size than 800 x 800.
Please DO NOT add your interview to Google Docs then send me an invite to Google Docs. My e-mail does not work with these links, I have a 100% failure rate with opening Google Doc invites.
Also please DO NOT embed your pictures into the word document that you send to me, I only have to remove them. Please send your pictures as separate attachments in your e-mail. (If you are worried about the size of your e-mail then please zip the pictures before attaching them.)
Once you’ve returned the questions I’ll set up the interview article and advise you as to when it will go live.
Once the interview goes live I’d be extremely grateful if you promote the interview through all your social media channels. Could you also please place a permanent link to the interview on your travel blog.
Many thanks and I look forward to interviewing you.
